Our reputable client is seeking a Purchasing Manager to join their company. This person will be responsible for researching new vendors, products, and services and negotiating contracts for the best price and value. If you are an experienced purchaser with excellent communication, inventory management and analytical skills, this may be the role for you. Prior construction industry experience is ideal.
Your responsibilities
- Ensure that goods are delivered on time by working with warehouse and delivery teams
- Write orders to refill stock as appropriate from monitoring inventory
- Write reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses
- Revise records of purchased products
- Report any issues with delivered products in timely manner
- Network with vendors and view new products at events, shows, and exhibitions
- Attend and contribute to meetings with staff and other stakeholders
- Review price and quality of potential products, vendors, and services in order to get the best deal
- Discuss and negotiate contracts with clients and vendors
Salary : $55,000 - $90,000
