Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for a contract Safety Coordinator to join the team of an organization in the clean energy industry. This position is fully onsite and will have two locations to report to: Vancouver and Portland.In this position, you will be responsible for:Act as an on-site escort, overseeing work activities to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project timelinesMonitor work processes, ask relevant questions, and intervene when necessary to maintain a safe working environmentEscalate safety issues to the Safety Manager and Project Managers as required, providing detailed reportsConduct daily debriefs to update stakeholders on project timelines and any incidents that occurred during the dayServe as a coordinator between vendors/contractors and project managers to facilitate seamless workflow and communicationComplete OSHA training and stay updated on safety regulations and best practices
