How you will make an impact
- Assisting with preparations for trade shows and conventions and attending them
- Providing support for administrative, technical and clerical functions of sales teams
- Completing ancillary Sales Assistant tasks as needed
- Respond to customer requests quickly and professionally, providing superior service
- Handling the generation of sales reports and preparations for presentations
- Supporting the sales department with the promotion of company products and services
- Handling and organizing internal training courses
- Providing order coordination support to ensure the processes are completed
- Preparing communications and proofreading documents
- Making arrangements related to travel and meetings
Requirements
- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook skills required
- Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments
- Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
- Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
- Recommended experience includes 2 years of Sales Assistance
- Demonstrated project coordination skills, superb social skills, and ability to work well with all levels of staff, outside clients and vendors
- BA/BS degree in business, communications, or related field preferred
- Speedwriting and transcription experience
