We are currently seeking an experienced Sales Director with a proven track record in business development and a deep understanding of business analytics to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in managing and leading a sales team within the financial services industry. They need to be adept at implementing strategies for market share increase and growth-driving, and able to work efficiently on multi-state levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive growth and profit by identifying and converting business development opportunities.
- Align sales objectives with the company's business strategy to ensure reach of annual goals.
- Lead, manage, and develop a professional sales team across multiple states.
- Utilize deep understanding of business analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the marketplace.
- Implement strategies to increase market share and drive business growth.
- Manage the effectiveness and performance of the sales team through regular, timely feedback and formal reviews.
- Foster team engagement, motivation, and development to enhance the Ameriprise Client Experience.
- Collaborate with other leadership to strategize sales direction and goals.
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer needs to identify potential new markets.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
Experience/Requirements:
- Industry experience is a minimum of 8-10 years
- Candidates should be prepared to acquire professional licenses and credentials including Series 7, 66 (or 65 and 63 combined), as well as certifications in Life, Health and Annuities Insurance in the foreseeable future, though these are not prerequisites for the position.
- While an undergraduate degree in business, economics, or finance is preferred it is not compulsory, as relevant industry experience can serve as an alternative qualification of equal validity.
Salary : $150,000 - $200,000
