Compensation: $16.00 to $16.00 hourly
Robert Half is currently looking for some help for a seasonal opportunity with a Fortune 500 company in the South Carolina area. The Seasonal Tax Supporter will be providing telephone support to branch employees and supervisors regarding tax law, tax software, tax forms, correction, bank product paperwork, and other various administrative support. The Seasonal Tax Supporter is 100% onsite, long-term contract to report to an office in Spartanburg, SC. The Seasonal Tax Supporter will be looking forward to starting as soon as Dec 5th,2022, so apply away today!
Seasonal Tax Support Daily Task:
- Maintains log of incoming and outgoing calls in the Help Desk program
- Assists branch personnel in completing individual federal and state income tax returns using Drake Tax Software
- Reviews form related to tax preparation scanned in from branches to ensure proper data entry
- Reviews various tax return-related documents including internal forms, IRS, State, and Bank Product related compliance documents utilizing KOFAX validation and the OnBase and Home Office systems; Determines if the forms meet required standards; Communicates with branches on unacceptable documents and assists with correction.
- High School Diploma
- Customer Service Experience
- Handling inbound calls with various levels of management
- Knowledge of Tax, IRS, etc. is preferred
- Banking knowledge is preferred
- Willing to work onsite
