Located in Council Bluffs, Iowa, this Senior Accountant role is with a company in the Automotive field.Key responsibilities- Prepare monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting- Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary- Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations- Engage in various department-wide initiatives- Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions- Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors- Execute monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports) in compliance with GAAP- Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary- Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
