Senior Systems Engineer - Patching

Description

What you get to do every single day

- Oversee and follow up on all installed systems and infrastructure

- Configure, test, maintain, and install operating systems, system management tools, and application software

- Hold up redundancy strategies, backup, and security

- Survey and sample application performance for potential bottlenecks, pinpoint possible solutions, and cooperate with developers to perform those fixes

- Take preventive action to safeguard the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability

- Record and keep custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks

- Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support

- Work together with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution

- Partake in the design of information and operational support systems

Requirements

- Microsoft Windows Server experience

- MS Windows Server 2012 experience

- Microsoft SCCM experience

- VMware experience highly desired

- Expertise in Microsoft SCCM - System Cntr Config Mgr

- It is preferred for applicants to have experience with automation software

- It is preferred for applicants to have proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems

- Applicants should have solid networking knowledge
