What are the responsibilities and job description for the Space Planner position at Robert Half?
A well-known home improvement retailer is looking for a Space Planner to assist with their merchandising operations and planning. The Space Planner will be responsible for editing planograms to match national store blueprints in an effort to streamline merchandising product storage. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with flexibility to work remotely in EST or CST hours.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze past projects to check for quality of planograms information accessibility etc. and works upfront with Merchandising Operations and other internal groups to provide proactive solutions.
- Provide planning and execution expectations work plans data sets and communication consistently to drive project and program completion.
- Utilize and manages large sets of data including store blueprints, inventory capacity, budgets, etc. to ensure key stakeholders are prepared and informed for deployment.
- Work cross functionally with Store Operations and Merchandising to ensure project details and service expectations are consistent and to connect the field and merchant points of view.
- Develop and provide instructions to Store Operations for Merchandising product resets and corporate projects translating merchant intent into execution in the field.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of store planning experience
- Self-motivated and comfortable working with ambiguous deadlines
- Prior experience redlining planograms and blueprints
- Workfront experience a plus
- Experience working with Bluebeam is a plus
- Ability to translate findings from store surveys and incorporate them into planograms
Salary : $35 - $37
