A non-profit organization based in Hoboken, NJ is currently seeking a Grant Accountant to join their organization on a long-term contract basis. The Grant Accountant will manage six grants, including regularly interacting with the various Grantors, and will interface with various departmental leaders on dispersing the funds according to relevant terms and conditions. Additionally, the Grant Accountant will maintain all monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting and reporting for each fund. The ideal Grant Accountant will have a minimum of three years' recent experience handling grant accounting responsibilities within the non-profit sector, will possess strong communication skills, and will be generally savvy with accounting software and Excel.
