We are offering an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Sr. Accountant to join our team in the health solutions industry. This role is based north of Ankeny, IA and offers the flexibility to operate remotely for the right candidate. The Sr. Accountant will play a crucial role in the implementation of our new cloud-based Sage X3 accounting software, bridging knowledge gaps, and ensuring a smooth transition for the accounting team.

- Support the implementation of the Sage X3 software, acting as a subject-matter expert for the team
- Identify and rectify potential issues within the new system, ensuring a seamless transition
- Respond to inquiries related to the software and provide recommendations for process improvements
- Assist in setting up the new system and creating reports for various departments
- Collaborate with the operations analyst in building reports, leveraging skills in Microsoft Excel and Sage X3
- Perform account reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and bank reconciliations
- Maintain the general ledger and execute journal entries as required
- Oversee the month end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and up-to-date
- Utilize Great Plains (GPAC) software for various accounting tasks, as necessary
- Assist in training new associate accountants on the use of Sage X3 and other accounting procedures.
