What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. AP Administrator position at Robert Half?
Classification: Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager
Compensation: $65000.00 to $70000.00 yearly
is actively seeking a well-rounded Senior Accounts Payable position to collaborate closely with existing staff in a variety of areas including vendor payables, driver settlements, and contract administration.
• Vendor payables for multiple companies
• Monthly vendor aging management to reduce overdue payables
• Driver (independent owner-operators) weekly settlements and deductions
• Support to drivers and terminals, including driver onboarding, fuel cards, and escrow balances.
• Lead person for contract management (leases, sales agreements, loans, etc) – understand terms, manage payments, and create central storage location for all contracts.
• Work with various other departments to enhance and streamline processes.
• Manage yearly 1099 distributions
• Assist in enhancing A/P controls (invoice approval authorities, driver loan policies, auto ACH oversight)
• Ability to interact with operational management and report to upper management on a consistent basis
Minimum Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent college degree preferred
• 3-5 years relevant A/P experience
• Trucking experience preferred
• Great Plains or equivalent experience
• Basic/Intermediate Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
