Position Overview:
As a Senior Manager, Sales & Use Tax, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with sales and use tax regulations while optimizing our tax strategies. You will lead a team responsible for tax compliance, reporting, and audits, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive tax-related initiatives. This is a senior-level role that requires a deep understanding of sales and use tax laws and regulations, as well as strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Use Tax Compliance: Manage the end-to-end sales and use tax compliance process, including filing returns, making payments, and reconciling tax accounts.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, performance feedback, and opportunities for growth.
- Tax Planning: Develop and implement sales and use tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Audits and Inquiries: Manage and coordinate sales and use tax audits, respond to inquiries from tax authorities, and work to resolve any tax-related issues.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve tax compliance processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure tax considerations are integrated into business decisions.
- Regulatory Updates: Stay up-to-date with changes in sales and use tax laws and regulations and communicate their impact on the organization.

Salary : $140,000 - $155,000
