What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Robert Half?
We are looking for an organized, efficient Staff Accountant to join our client's team in the construction industry. As a Staff Accountant, you will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. You will also use your knowledge of GAAP principles to report on financial data and prepare forecasts.Responsibilities:Prepare complex journal entries and account reconciliations including but not limited to cash, prepaid expenses and payroll.Prepare monthly balance sheet and income statement analyses for management reporting.Participate in the month end, quarter end and year end closing process including monthly financial close workbook preparation.Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules.Participate in various department-wide initiatives.
Salary : $36 - $42
