A government client of ours in the Greater Sacramento, California area is looking to bring on a Systems Engineer with Level III and senior-level skillsets. This individual will be responsible for overseeing a 250-300 server environment in this role and needs to be comfortable taking on a project-lead type responsibility, so deep experience in related technologies such as NSX-T and vSAN storage is critical to the position. This position will also require deep knowledge in Windows Server, Internet Information Server, PowerShell Scripting, and DNS to be successful. This position will start as a 3-month temporary opportunity with possibility for extension and will allow an individual to be 100% remote (periodic onsite work may be needed on occasion).

Required Skills
• Large scale VMWare ESXi virtualization platform deployments and administration
• VMWare VSAN storage
• NSX-T and vSAN storage
• On-Prem Active Directory and Azure Active Directory administration
• Windows Server, Internet Information Server, Powershell Scripting, and DNS
• Advanced systems and administration using PowerShell scripts
• Microsoft PKI administration
• Data backup systems and disaster recovery architecture
• Team leadership for multiple server infrastructure projects
• Dell VX rail experience a plus
