Robert Half is partnering with a leading tech e-commerce enterprise in their search for a skilled UI Designer to join their team in Redmond, WA. This role focuses on designing, creating, populating, unifying, and maintaining the Kuiper BizOps wikis and Confluence platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience in content management systems, web programming, and UI architecture, with a strong ability to optimize knowledge management and drive the creative direction of internal wiki and confluence platforms.
Location: Redmond, WA (onsite)
Duration: 6-month contract
Pay Rate: $35-40/hour
Hours: 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities
- Wiki Architecture & Structure: Design the overall architecture and structure of the Kuiper BizOps wiki to optimize knowledge management and meet the organization’s evolving needs.
- User-Centered Design: Create intuitive, user-centered designs by integrating user feedback, usability findings, and best practices.
- Implementation & Maintenance: Implement and maintain the wiki, including creating templates, setting permissions, and integrating with other systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor wiki usage, analyze analytics, and make data-driven improvements based on user feedback and emerging trends.
- Web Programming: Perform basic HTML and CSS edits as necessary, ensuring the wiki’s functionality and design align with business objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, IT, and knowledge management teams to ensure the wiki aligns with business goals and brand guidelines.
- Presentation: Present design work to the BizOps and marketing teams, product teams, and Kuiper BizOps stakeholders for review and feedback.
- Compliance: Ensure wiki adherence to accessibility standards, brand guidelines, and industry best practices.
Skills and Experience:
- 5 years of experience in wiki architecture, implementation, and management, preferably with Confluence.
- Extensive experience in designing enterprise-level wiki structures and taxonomies for optimized knowledge management.
- Proven ability to create user-centered design solutions that enhance usability and user experience.
- Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and web programming, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Flash, and Visual.
- Strong understanding of web best practices, user experience, and search engine optimization (SEO).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret wiki data and make informed, data-driven decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with web accessibility guidelines and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) administration and development.
