Responsibilities:
- Participate in the creation of digital media products.
- Apply market analysis, customer feedback, and usability findings in design work.
- Develop and maintain user interface specifications.
- Showcase and gain feedback on design work from the user experience team, product team, and company executives.
- Contribute to and utilize the shared knowledge of the Digital User Experience group.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in user experience design, interaction design, orinformation architecture.
- Possess a portfolio demonstrating strong competency in user-centered design.
- Excellent at communication, with particularly strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in web-based information architecture and design best practices, and familiar with usability principles.
- Able to work effectively within team settings, and work hand in hand with developers.
- Skilled in various design tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Visio, and Dreamweaver.
- Bachelor's degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI), or related fields, or evidence of equivalent professional experience is preferred.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, and CSS, or Flash prototyping.
- Robust visual design expertise, as exhibited via mockups and style guides.
