Wellness Coordinator

Description

We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Bilingual Wellness Coordinator in Oakland, California. This position plays a significant role in facilitating wellness programs for low-income seniors, fostering a strong membership base, and managing the implementation of programming within the team. The chosen candidate will be part of an industry that values the health and well-being of its members and will have a significant impact in improving their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and evaluate wellness programs for low-income seniors
• Recruit and engage members to strengthen the membership base
• Manage the execution of programming under the department
• Monitor feedback from participants and maintain relevant contacts
• Conduct surveys to gauge interest or satisfaction with the programs, events, or services offered
• Respond promptly and appropriately to requests for information and referrals about wellness programs or services
• Utilize various computer programs and systems, including EHR SYSTEM, to maintain accurate records and monitor customer accounts
• Handle customer inquiries and ensure the resolution of issues
• Perform case management duties as required
• Oversee the administration of wellness and employee wellness programs.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or patient facing role
• Fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese
• Experience in answering inbound calls and handling billing functions
• Ability to create charts and graphs and manage claim administration
• Experience in clinical trial operations and case management
• Proven track record in managing and coordinating employee wellness programs
• Knowledge and experience in implementing wellness programs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
