The Department of Psychology and Health Sciences in the School of Nursing, Education, and Human Studies invites applicants for an immediate opening of Lecturer, Advanced Medical Imaging Technology. The B.S. in Advanced Medical Imaging Technology degree program, accredited by the JRCNMT, prepares students to be dual certified imaging technologists. The department houses undergraduate programs in Health Sciences, Health Services Administration, Advanced Medical Imaging Technology, Psychology, and Wellness as well as graduate programs in Health Services Administration and Counseling Psychology.
Responsibilities:
1. Teach effectively in the on-ground undergraduate advanced medical imaging technology program. Maintain a 27 credit teaching load per academic year. Facilitate student learning, develop appropriate learning activities and assessment, administer final grades, and keep attendance records. 2. Engage in student advising. 3. Participate in program-related activities, outcomes assessment, and accreditation efforts.
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree from an accredited academic institution in a health related field and certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology (e.g. ARRT, NMTCB) is required. Expertise/certification in other imaging modalities preferred. Candidates with collegiate teaching experience are encouraged to apply.
