Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python, Django, React, and Next.js.
- Implement front-end components using React and integrate with backend services in Django.
- Work with data manipulation libraries such as SciPy, NumPy, and Pandas to handle complex datasets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
- Assist in deploying and managing applications in AWS cloud environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues, optimizing performance across applications.
- Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to peers and receiving constructive feedback to improve.
- Contribute to project planning, estimation, and sprint planning activities.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Solid experience in Python, Typescript and Django for backend web development.
- Familiarity with React and Next.js for frontend development.
- Knowledge of scientific computing libraries such as SciPy, NumPy, and Pandas.
- Basic understanding of AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DynamoDB.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to building RESTful APIs or GraphQL-based applications.
- Experience working with Docker and/or Kubernetes for containerized applications.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native tools in AWS.
