What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Coach position at Rochester Gymnastics Academy (ROGA)?

ROGA has just that opportunity! We are looking for an upbeat, fun, energetic responsible adult that has a passion for working with preschoolers and their parents! This is a rewarding position that allow you to contact with the kids and watch them grow over the sessions!
Job Responsibilities:
o Ensure gym is ready for your class
o Welcome each athlete into class and introduce yourself
o Lead fun preschool friendly warm-up and stretching
o Demonstrate and explain the station or circuit of each event with preschool friendly words so kids age 3 – 5 can understand or at appropriate level for parent in parent and me classes
o During class provide both verbal cues and on hands coaching
o Always providing positive encouragement and genuine excitement for students efforts
Ideal Candidates will have:
- Prior experience working with preschool age kids
- Prefer prior coaching or gymnastics experience, but willing to train the right candidate
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Patience and understanding
- The ability to lift up to 30 pounds; physical activity involved in spotting, lifting, and crouching
- The ability to effectively communicate with parents, kids, and other staff
ROGA’s Preschool Coach Position has a few different schedule options:
1.) Morning shift ranging from 8:30am to 11:30am Monday through Thursday
2.) Afternoon/Evening shift ranging from 2:45 pm to 7:30 pm Monday through Thursday
3.) Saturdays ranging from 8:15 am to 3:00 pm

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
