SUMMARY
The Clinical Trials Portfolio Manager oversees service delivery for ACM Global Laboratories’ portfolio clients. The Portfolio Manager serves as a strategic liaison for clients, driving project performance and client satisfaction. This role oversees the project management activities for client portfolios and serves as a subject matter expert and mentor within Project Management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Relationships. Serve as a primary contact and strategic liaison for ACM Global Laboratories client portfolios. Translate client requirements into actions related to problem/issue resolution, process improvement and overall client satisfaction. Establish methods for risk analysis, mitigation, metrics and trends in collaboration with assigned clients. Serve as a point of an internal and external escalation. Partner with clients to identify gaps and determine solutions to drive client satisfaction.
Project Management. Ensure high quality service delivery throughout the project life-cycle of client portfolios. Oversee the aligned Project Management activities for client portfolios. Lead and/or support the problem resolution activities which may require cross departmental coordination. Lead the tactical operational oversight of aligned Project Managers. Identify and support Project Management training and development to elevate service delivery. Coordinate and maintain regular communications with aligned Project Managers. Participate in the handover process between Business Development and Project Management. Liaise with cross functional departments to support the performance and issue resolution of client portfolios. Work with internal teams to identify, define and implement process improvements. Monitor adherence to defined standardized processes and workflows across the global Project Management team.
Portfolio Performance & Development. Monitor portfolio performance, key performance indicators (KPI), budget and forecast with clients on a routine basis. Establish and maintain governance structures for clients’ portfolios; hold regularly scheduled governance meetings to review overall performance and KPIs. Drive portfolio performance through mentorship, guidance and oversight of aligned Project Management team. Partner with Business Development to support and expand client relationships. Identify, implement and monitor standard processes, communication plans, workflows and documents to ensure consistency across clients’ portfolios. Participate and support quality audits and inspections. Assist with contract amendments for portfolio clients. Support key investigator training sessions, meetings, and bid defenses.
