DESCRIPTION:
- Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests and answer any menu or drink questions.
- Set tables neatly and properly.
- Strong communication with kitchen to minimize mistakes on orders, especially allergies or dietary needs.
- Check in with guests to ensure everyone is enjoying themselves.
- Pick-up trays and clean tables as needed to ensure a clean dining area.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.
- Maintain cleanliness of work and guest areas by clearing, collecting and returning food and beverage items to proper area.
- Complete closing duties, including restocking items, rolling silverware etc.
- Adhere to company safety rules- report accidents or unsafe work conditions to MOD.
- Keep uniform and personal appearance clean and professional.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
- Anticipate and address guests' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Cultivate positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least two years serving experience.
- Able to greet and seat customers, take orders and deliver orders promptly, accurately and efficiently.
- Make a positive impression at all times.
- Guest oriented with high focus on delivering quality service.
- Strong communication skills.
- Adaptability and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Must be able to expedite orders, attend to customers’ needs, process payments and possess a strong desire to fulfill the desires of the customers at all times.
- Ability to engage in casual conversation with customers without sounding too personal.
- Handling pressure well along with the ability to set priorities and make decisions based on quality.
- Must be well dressed and well spoken.
