Floor Tech / Janitor : Part Time, Hourly Non-Exempt (All Covid 19 City Mandates apply to this position)
Reports to : Floor Tech Supervisor / Operations Manager / Operations Assistant
Summary of Job Duties & Responsibilities : Performs Floor and custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas, and other building interiors.
Typical tasks performed include a combination of the following :
Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, strips, waxes and polishes floors using industrial machines. Cleans carpet with vacuum cleaners and by carpet cleaning bonneting system process.
Assist janitorial staff with sanitizing restrooms, empties trash, on occasion using ladders, and dusts and washes walls, ceilings, and dusts and polishes light fixtures.
Washes and replaces blinds. Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas. May remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, upholstery and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
May also sweep walks, remove snow or perform other incidental seasonal tasks. Performs other duties as assigned

- Set up carts & brut barrels; reline brut barrels with small &large liners.
- Pull trash from offices change liners, wipe desk tops as you pull your trash
- Vacuum all offices and close doors after areas are done (Able to lift 45 lbs)
- Detail section each night
- Restroom cleaning
- Set cart-up replenish supplies
- Replenish, toilet tissue
- Empty trash (including sanitary boxes)
- Toilet, urinals, sinks, clean thoroughly
- Clean all walls by wiping
- Wipe clean all stainless steel
- Sweep floor under toilets urinals
- Wet mop floor
- Use air freshener
- Restock cart for next day
