Kit Production Manager
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing an inventory tracking system and optimize the process for mass production of kits
- Inventory management of critical materials related to Host Cell Protein and other bioprocessing related kits and reagents
- Create, implement, and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages and re-order thresholds
- Create and maintain detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels
- Properly order new supplies avoiding excessive surplus or inefficiencies
- Report out information to stakeholders rapidly and accurately
- Key stakeholder relationship development (internal): Commercial Lead of Bioprocessing Business Unit, Vice President of Client Solutions, Director of Production Operations, Analyst Lab Operations, and HCP project managers
- Maintain segregated physical inventories for both commercial and specialty reagents and raw materials (Bulk and In-process)
- Coordinate cross-functionally and support production staff with manufacture of kits and components
- Develop knowledge of Host Cell Protein project management, products, and workflows
- This Role will also be responsible for managing, handling, and coordinating shipments of OEM Kits, and other related kits.
- Resource planning for operational readiness
- Other duties as assigned
- This position is NOT a remote position. Candidate must be on site at least 4 days a week.

Qualifications
- College Degree preferred
- 2 years or more experience in Product management/Supply chain management or inventory management, kit assembly management in biological sciences.
- Great organization and coordination skills
- Knowledge of antibody development or host cell protein is a benefit
- Must have ability to use MS-WORD, MS-EXCEL and other MS Office applications
- Command of English Language – written and oral
- Ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures
- Knowledge of QSR/cGMP guidelines or other good documentation processes is a plus
