What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Secretary position at Rockwell Construction?
Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department
- Maintain office supplies inventory by checking stock levels and placing orders as needed
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for staff
- Manage calendars and update schedules as necessary
- Assist with data entry, order entry, and maintaining databases
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
Experience:
- Previous experience in an office secretary or administrative role preferred
- Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Knowledge of dental receptionist or medical office procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and excellent proofreading skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
