This is the role: We are looking for professionals to join our Byhalia, MS team as a Technical Operator. Technical Operators are important members of the team, providing visual quality inspections, basic machine operations, as well as the packaging of the stone wool ceiling tiles. Must have a good understanding in how equipment operates in order to clear equipment safely Good understanding of H S requirements and works in a safe manner Physical Work Environment & Conditions Must be able to stand/walk on concrete floors for 12 or more hours during the course of a day. Plant environment will be dusty with airborne wool particles. Must be able to work in a fast-paced high volume production facility. Some lifting, bending, stooping, walking up/down stairs, fast pace walking for some distance. The ability to lift 60 pounds and 120 pounds with another person The ability to shovel heavy waste to shoulder height The ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions for several hours daily while wearing protective safety equipment required Essential Functions: Visually inspects stone wool ceiling tiles to meet customer specifications Reports the quantity of the created / rejected deficiencies dependent on the cause of its creation Segregates waste according to the current instructions Reporting to the supervisor all the irregularities related to the work of subordinate devices In cooperation with other operator, leadership and maintenance, ensures the proper functioning of equipment and quick and safe removal of failures and machinery problems Plans product changes to have the least amount of stress put on the equipment as possible Communicates any unusual conditions, equipment breakdowns, needs for repair, reasons for increase or decrease of production etc. to cross shift operator Completes shutdown tasks according to shut down procedures or checklist About ROCKWOOL: ROCKWOOL Group is the world's leading manufacturer of stone wool products made from one of earth's most abundant natural resources.
