Digital Content Coordinator

Do you love YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and all aspects of creating and distributing digital content? Do you love dogs? We are looking for our next superstar Digital Content Coordinator who would be responsible for things like creating video thumbnails, titles, description/copy, and more! You’ll have superb writing skills with the ability to come up with captivating titles and descriptions including needed keywords. You’ll love commenting and engaging with our dog loving community. You get excited to pull reports and dive into analytics, do A/B testing to define and share with the team what’s working and what isn’t. With this information you’ll give suggested changes, updates, and plans for the next video. An important part of this role is creating and managing a publishing calendar, so knowing what videos are to be published on which social platform. You’ll stay up to date on all the latest social trends, in fact you’ll be so excited when a new trend starts happening because the challenge of somehow incorporating a dog into it makes you giddy. You’ll be working with a driven and passionate team who loves producing, creating and delivering stories with the purpose of doing good and changing lives. While experience managing a digital platform is preferred, we are willing to train the right person if you have the willingness to learn, a go-getter attitude and the aptitude to take on the responsibility that comes with managing an audience of millions of subscribers across all platforms.

Rocky Kanaka and his team work hard to highlight pets in need. His YouTube and Facebook channels aim to spread awareness about pet adoption, fostering and volunteering through entertaining content with the goal of inspiring his audience to help animals in their own community. Rocky is an Emmy nominated creator due to his passion for telling stories of animals that might otherwise be passed by. Rocky has 3 rescue dogs of his own, a 9 year old Boxer named Flip who barely survived distemper as a puppy, a 13 year old Terrier mix named Zoey, who is the boss of the house, his first ever foster-fail named Kobe, a blind Cane Corso puppy in constant heart failure, along with the numerous other dogs that he has fostered over the years.
