We are seeking a bookkeeper to work for a religious nonprofit in a small office. The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently and as part of a small team. The position requires coordinating work with the synagogue accounting outsourcing firm, good communication skills and being comfortable supporting our congregants who will have questions regarding their membership accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the liaison between office and staff to our accounting firm and a point of contact for congregants who have questions about their accounts
- Process Invoices for Payment
- Follow Up on All Submitted Invoices
- Complete Daily Billing summary daily as needed
- Process Credit Card receipts
- Monitor all Company Credit Cards and Assist in Monthly Reconciliation
- Processing and managing Payroll
- General Admin Support
Requirements:
- Associates Degree or some College preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Software Suite (eg. Word, Excel, PowerPoint required)
- Prior Bookkeeping experience (Payroll, Invoicing, or any related experience)
- Experience using QuickBooks and ShulCloud is desired but not required.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour

Experience:
