What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialty Rewind Slitter position at Rogers Corporation?
Summary:
This role will function as part of a team to meet production goals. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with the ability communicate production issues and take direction from the department supervisor on a daily basis.
Essential Functions:
Perform routine set-up, operate and troubleshoot any of the Specialty REM/Arrow Slitting units in accordance with rotation schedule. Ensuring safe, efficient production of materials. Perform visual inspection and measurement of material in accordance with established procedures to maintain product specification. Accurately record production data into the computer database. Detects unusual conditions, defective material, or operating difficulties and report issues. Perform other duties as directed and assigned. Maintain safe work environment (5S), minor maintenance on the equipment and area clean-up.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Attention to detail
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills
- Basic math skills
