Position Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned and self-motivated finance professional to join our quickly growing family of companies on the Main Line. This position is for a new role, ideally suited for someone looking take over our accounting work and run with it. This individual will be responsible for primary oversight of all accounting aspects of the businesses. Applicants should be independent, organized and detail oriented. Must have experience in Quickbooks. The Applicant should be able to reconcile bank accounts, perform accounts payable, send monthly invoices, make deposits and other bookkeeping duties. Responsibilities:
- Reconciling bank accounts for multiple companies.
- Logging monthly credit card expenses.
- Create and send monthly invoices to clients.
- Maintain and organize accounting files.
- Complete tasks related to accounting and special projects as assigned
- Handle tasks related to accounts payable and accounts receivables each month.
- Print and send checks as needed.
- Perform and verify bank deposits.
Experience Requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience is required; more than 5 years of experience preferred.
Associate Degree or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Quickbooks.
- Strong follow up skills
- Outstanding communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated and able to diagnose problems and address them without being prompted
- Ability and willingness to learn accounting software as needed.
Standard workplace applications with a basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Google Calendar. Must be proficient in use of electronics and capable of learnings company’s systems and software. Must be experienced in using Quickbooks.
