What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Analyst I position at Rogue Community Health?

Rogue Community Health is dedicated to its mission of vibrant health for all, especially for the most vulnerable, in partnership with our community.

We are currently seeking a Data Analyst with previous report writing experience. This position is responsible for developing end-user reports to support ongoing operational needs. This position is highly collaborative, working across all levels of the organization.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret and analyze data
  • Design and develop end-user reports using Business Intelligence software
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data
  • Customer service for legacy reports
  • End-user requests for data. Supply internal and external end-users with data requested in a timely, responsive manner.
  • Work with stakeholders on process improvement initiatives
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Train and advise on insights found in data analysis
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisor

  • Ability to manage and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to report to work as assigned and willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed
  • Ability to pass background and drug screen
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, Access
  • Proficiency in developing business reports
  • Data models, information systems, security and privacy, and organizational principles and standards (preferred)
  • HIPAA and OSHA rules and regulations (preferred)

EDUCATION:

Associates or Bachelor’s in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Management, or Mathematics preferred

Required to complete a criminal background check, and pre-employment drug screen once a conditional offer is accepted.
