JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a talented and passionate Bar Prep Chef to join our team and play a key role in our molecular beverage program. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, a keen eye for detail, and a creative approach to beverage preparation. You will work closely with our Bar Chef to prepare ingredients, develop recipes, and ensure the highest standards of quality and presentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and manage all pre-batch ingredients and components for molecular cocktails, including foams, gels, spherifications, and infusions. - Collaborate with the bar team to develop new and innovative drink recipes. - Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient prep area, adhering to all health and safety regulations. - Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.- Ensure consistency and quality in all prepared ingredients.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Positive attitude and love for detail. - Previous experience in a bar or beverage program, with a focus on molecular gastronomy preferred. - Strong understanding of food science and molecular techniques. - Excellent knife skills and proficiency in kitchen equipment. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. - Creative, innovative, and willing to experiment with new techniques and ingredients. - Strong communication and teamwork skills.
