Roll & Hill is seeking a part-time accounts payable coordinator to provide financial, administrative, and clerical support for the company, reporting to a remotely-based Accounting Manager. In joining our Grand Rapids office, the Accounts Payable Coordinator will ensure that payments are completed, and expenses are controlled by processing, verifying, and reconciling vendor invoices accurately.

R*esponsibilities include the following: *
- Matching purchase orders to invoices and entering invoices into the company's ERP system (NetSuite) while resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, and payment discrepancies;
- Uploading and attaching invoices into our ERP system and financial server;
- Charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by examining invoices and recording entries;
- Providing remittance advice to vendors and performing other vendor relations duties;
- Ensuring credit is received for outstanding memos and issuing stop payments as necessary;
- Verifying vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and creating new vendors in our ERP system, as needed;
- Documenting and updating AP tasks.
- Ensure that sales tax is not charged on eligible tax-exempt purchases;
- Performing other ad hoc projects and financial analyses as required.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in accounting or some accounts payable experience. Other attributes for this position include:
- Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations;
- A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality;
- Willingness and flexibility to "roll up your sleeves";

- A team-oriented approach to meeting goals;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills;
- Ability to both offer and accept clear feedback, prioritize projects and tasks, and execute ongoing updates;

- Demonstrated computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel;
- A proactive work ethic and an eye for detail.
