Job Description Data Systems Engineer Indianapolis, IN/Remote A new opportunity has arisen for a Data Systems Engineer. As the Data Systems Engineer you will be reporting to Head of Informatics team and working closely with the PHM (Prognostics and Health Management) team, Data Engineers, and JSF Program Managers to provide and own end-to-end business and technical solutions across the JSF LiftSystem. Key Accountabilities: Collaborate with LiftSystem partners and other F-35 Stakeholders for Data Quality Improvement Initiatives and ongoing System(s) Design Working with colleagues to ensure that the infrastructure available is capable of meeting the solution requirements. Evaluate technical options and work towards becoming proficient in best practices for analytical Fleet Support, Asset Management and Data Package Delivery Perform Business Process analysis and Enterprise data modelling Provide deep understanding of appropriate database / decision support capabilities and their application to the delivery of LiftSystem hardware and logistics support Basic Requirements: Associates degree with 4 years of experience in Computer Engineering, Data Science or Informatics OR; Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in Engineering, Data Science or Informatics OR; Master’s degree in Engineering, Data Science or Informatics OR; In order to be considered for this position, you must be a US Citizen Preferred Requirements: 2 years of experience with software development Experience with Python and SQL use for developing custom ETL solutions Experience with business intelligence and reporting tools (Maximo, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, etc.) Experience with Oracle 11g /12c/19c, PL/SQL, RMAN, Shell scripts. Strong analytical and problem solving skills Able to manage multiple projects in a deadline driven environment Pioneer the next generation of innovation.
