Server

Ramblewood is looking for an enthusiastic Server to join our team! In this role, no two days will be the same! 

Whether our guests are grabbing a meal after a long round of golf, meeting friends for drinks in our tavern, or celebrating a loved one's wedding in our banquet hall, help create memorable experiences for all of our visitors by providing impeccable customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a professional appearance at all times
• Provide prompt and efficient customer service
• Keep tables in dining room and work stations cleaned, sanitized, and organized10. Listen and respond to customer complaints
• Perform other duties as assigned

Catering Specific:

•  Demonstrate a knowledge of food and beverage menu items served daily
• Serve food and beverage items to guests in a timely and efficient manner
• Perform set-up and clean-up procedures as assigned by manager

Tavern Specific: 

• Provide prompt and efficient customer service
• Display knowledge of the Tavern menu
• Take guests food and/or drink orders and accurately import them to computer
• Handles all cash and/or credit cards for payment
• Checks back to ensure guest(satisfaction; replenishes items as necessary and/or requested
• Adhere to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies including confirming legal drinking age and the discontinuing service to intoxicated guests

Working Conditions:

• Employee must be able to lift/handle up to 20 lbs. occasionally
• Work extended hours during golf and holiday seasons
• Work weekends and holidays
• Physical activity for long periods of time including standing, walking, bending, and carrying
• Operate food service equipment and clean food service areas
• Fast paced high traffic areas with a moderate noise level

Hourly Rate is dependent on your experience. 

Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

1. A thorough understanding of fine and casual dining

2. Must be of legal age to serve liquor according to state law

3. Possess excellent customer service skills

4. Must be dependable

5. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

6. Must be able to work in a team environment

7. Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills

8. Ability to operate computerized cash register system
