Inventory Associate

Ron Jon Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach is now hiring a Regular, Full Time Inventory Associate to join our Dotcom team at Corporate! Enjoy busy days with a variety of duties, and work for a known industry leader. The key responsibilities of this position are to receive and prepare merchandise for stock and prepare all outgoing inventory while maintaining an accurate live inventory on the website. The Inventory Associate completes inventory cycle counts. During busy times, this position may be asked to perform the duties of a Customer Service Representative (CSR) or Fulfillment Associate. This position is $16 per hour, schedule is Monday- Friday from 8am-5pm. Full time associate benefits include set schedules, associate discounts, 401K, medical, dental & vision insurance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Receive and prepare merchandise and paperwork for inter-store transfers.
• Receive and prepare merchandise for placement into inventory.
• Ordering of inventory from corporate distribution center.
• Work with management to identify supply needs.
• Work with Web Production Artist to ensure new items are logged and processed for sale on the website.
• Inspect products for defects and damages and initiate stock adjustments.
• Maintain accurate Bin location numbers and shelving labels.
• Keep stock room organized to make sure for new products.
• Accurately perform inventory cycle counts and audits to maintain accurate inventory.
• Clean and maintain the stockroom.
• Must be capable and able to perform Fulfillment Associate Duties and basic Customer Service Representative Duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year or experience in similar role preferred.
• Must be proficient with computers.
• Ability to work effectively under stressful situations (i.e. dealing with large volumes of new products or meeting deadlines).
• Ability to use computerized inventory, invoicing, and shipping system to complete fulfillment tasks.
• Must have excellent prioritization skills, check and balance, and be detail-oriented.
• Ability to maintain a positive work attitude, work as part of a team and promote enthusiasm amongst co-workers.
• Must be able to push and pull racks up to 50 pounds and lift 20 pounds.
• Must be highly motivated and hardworking.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
