Director of Operations

Roni's Mac Bar is a rapidly growing restaurant chain specializing in gourmet mac and cheese. Through both corporate and franchise locations, we are committed to delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Operations to join our team and drive operational excellence across all locations.

The Director of Operations will oversee the day-to-day operations of all Roni's Mac Bar locations, ensuring consistent quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a passion for the restaurant industry. The Director of Operations will work closely with franchisees, corporate store managers, and the executive team to implement and uphold company standards, drive performance, and support the growth of the brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement operational strategies and processes to ensure consistency and efficiency across all locations
• Oversee the performance of corporate and franchise stores, ensuring they meet or exceed company standards in quality, service, and cleanliness
• Collaborate with the executive team to set operational goals and KPIs, and monitor progress towards achieving them
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to store managers and franchisees, fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and to identify areas for improvement
• Work with the training department to ensure effective training programs for store employees, including onboarding, ongoing training, and development
• Support the training and development of store managers and franchisees, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed
• Analyze financial performance and operational data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for cost savings
• Lead initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty, including feedback collection and resolution of customer issues
• Ensure all locations adhere to health, safety, and regulatory requirements
• Support the opening of new stores, including site selection, design, staffing, and training
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and implement relevant changes to keep Roni's Mac Bar competitive

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior operations role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
• Proven track record of managing multi-unit operations and driving operational excellence
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to travel as needed to support store operations and openings

Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
