Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Roof Repair Technician to join our team. As a Roof Repair Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of roofing issues, including leaks, damage, and general wear and tear. You will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure that our customers' roofs are properly maintained and repaired to the highest standards.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections of roofs to identify issues such as leaks, missing shingles, damaged flashing, and other problems.
Perform repairs on various types of roofing materials, including asphalt shingles, metal, tile, and flat roofing systems.
Replace damaged or worn roofing materials as needed.
Install and repair flashing, gutters, and other roofing accessories.
Work safely and efficiently at heights using appropriate safety equipment and techniques.
Keep accurate records of work performed, including materials used and hours worked.
Communicate effectively with customers to explain the scope of work, answer questions, and address concerns.
Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Roof Repair Technician or similar role.
Extensive knowledge of roofing materials, tools, and techniques.
Ability to safely work at heights and in various weather conditions.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as needed.
Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification or training in roofing repair or installation.
Experience with commercial and residential roofing projects.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred
