We are looking for experienced roofers to cover roofs with materials such as composition shingles or sheets, wood shingles, or asphalt and gravel. This candidate will perform preventive and corrective maintenance in order to keep roofs, gutters, flashings, and foundations in proper repair at all times.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Locate damages and leaks on roofs; remove gravel, felts, and insulation, and make the appropriate repairs as needed.
• Work as part of a team to erect and work from scaffolding, rigging, platforms, or ladders according to the nature of the job.
• Perform preventive maintenance on roofs which might include frozen or clogged drains and removal of snow and water from roofs.
• Waterproof roofs, building foundations, basements, metal ducts, pipes and flashings to extend life of buildings.
• Inspect roof drain grates, remove leaves and debris, and replace damaged or missing drain grates.
• Determine the best type of roofing material needed for each project.
• Provide input, facilitation, and inspection for roof construction projects.
• Participate in on-going training and education that may relate to health and safety, building practices, and equipment.
• Drive trucks with materials to building sites.
