The Shop Coordinator Plays a key role in the operations of our business. In this role you will often times be the first and last person a customer sees when they come to Roosters. As such, you have the responsibility to give the customer a positive impression that will want them to return to our shop over and over again.
Even Customers you know, that may be regular visitors to our shop, deserve and will come to expect the same level of service and attention to detail every time they visit.
In addition, the Shop Coordinator will be responsible for assisting the Shop Manager and the Assistant Manager with efficient operation of the shop. This means you must have a high attention to detail with regard to the appearance of the shop and the needs of our customers. These are the things that separate Roosters from any other Barber Shop or Hair Salon. The Shop Coordinator is part of the team. You should not be sitting on the sidelines watching.
The shop manager is a critical position in our company. As a shop manager you will be the team leader responsible for the integrity of our service, performance of your team, and operating the shop in an efficient manner.
Your primary duties are:
· Customer Service. Answering the phones and scheduling appointments. Assisting stylists and barbers managing clients in the shop.
· Daily Operations. Maintain the appearance of the shop and your work area, this includes light cleaning, vacuuming, window washing, laundry, folding towels and other duties as needed.
· Inventory management. Under the supervision of the Manager and the Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for creating orders for shop supplies and retail products. This includes marketing materials, back bar supplies, office supplies, etc.
· Ongoing Operations. You will also be asked to make periodic trips to a local warehouse club to buy supplies for the shop and other duties as the shop manager may request.
Other duties include:
· Making cash deposits in a timely manner
· Keeping a maintenance log and reporting maintenance issue
· Understand how to use the POS system
· You must be computer literate. You will be asked to use our Intranet system for record keeping and document management.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
