Are you a skilled baker with a passion for creating the perfect croissant? We are seeking a talented and dedicated individual to join our team as a croissant specialist.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional baking techniques and a keen eye for detail. Experience working with laminated dough is required. Experience with natural leavenings is desired.
In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality croissants and products with croissant dough on a daily basis, Innovating and experimenting with new flavors and techniques to keep our menu fresh and exciting is highly encouraged. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing and shaping croissants, danishes, pain au chocolat, and other viennoiserie
- Maintaining the highest standards of quality and consistency
- Assisting with menu development and recipe testing
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Following food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a professional kitchen
- Strong understanding of traditional baking techniques, particularly viennoiserie
- Experience with innovative pastry techniques and recipe development a plus
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for pastry
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to work early morning shift
- Positive Mental Attitude
