Production Manager

Rosco Vision is seeking a Production Manager to join our team! We are looking for an individual to manage the operations team to ensure they are working efficiently and safely at all times. The processes in the department include metal stamping, tube bending, welding, powder coating, machining and assembly. The chosen candidate will identify, recommend, and implement changes to improve productivity and quality, reduce cost and decrease scrap and product rework. The individual will direct the establishment, implementation and maintenance of production standards. The position involves hiring, training, developing, and evaluating staff and setting performance standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

• Manage the operations team to ensure they are working efficiently and safely at all times
• Work with the management team to implement and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the plant
• Monitor inventory of all products and work within the ERP system to report production and track efficiency
• Manage safety
• Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company's plans and vision
• Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
• Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching

QUALIFICATION & SKILLS

• College degree or equivalent learning experience
• 5 Years Production Management experience or related field/job experience
• Experience with manufacturing software such as ERP or Shop Floor systems
• Experience with Lean processes including Kaisen, 5S and Six Sigma
• Experience with Assembly, Automation, Powder Coating and Metal Processing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Production management: 5 years (Required)
• Lean Six Sigma: 2 years (Preferred)
• Powder Painting: 2 years (Preferred)
• Metal forming: 2 years (Preferred)
• ERP systems or Shop Floor systems: 2 years (Preferred)
