Bar and Food Attendant (Part-Time)

Pay: $11.69 per hour

Shifts Available: 5:30pm-11:00pm, Special Events weekends day or night

Rosecroft Raceway is seeking a seasonal part-time Food and Beverage Concessions/Bar Team Member to become an integral part of our team! You will take orders and serve food to patrons in concession and bar areas.

Days Available: Mon, Wed, Fri and special event weekends

Responsibilities:

· Take and prepare orders, while answering any questions from guests.

· Cook food requiring short preparation and serve to guests

· Take payments for orders from customers.

· Pour and serve Alcoholic Beverages

· Operate Food and Beverage Equipment

· Operate a cash register/POS system

· Explain to guests about menu items

· Monitor guest consumption of alcohol

· Clean and prepare Food and Beverage Concession/Bar areas

· Greet and make all guests feel welcome- Service with a smile

· Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely fashion

· Follow established food and beverage preparation guidelines

· Follow established cleaning guidelines

Qualifications:

· Must be 21 years of age

· High School diploma or equivalent

· Previous experience in food and beverage service a must

· Ability to build rapport with guests

· Count currency and coin correctly

· Read, write legibly, understand and speak English

· Excellent customer service/communication skills

· Obtain an Alcohol Awareness TIPs Certification

· Must qualify annually for the Maryland State Racing Commission License.
