Position Summary:
The DNP Operations Coordinator is a member of the Nurse Anesthesiology administrative team and is responsible for all activities related to DNP administration to include general information concerning academic advising, admissions, assessment, career services, general financial aid, graduation services, wellness services, new student orientation, registration. This person has primary responsibility for student wellness and advising.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides academic success counseling including study skills, time management, goal setting, test-taking strategies and test anxiety management with a focus on persistence, retention and completion.
- Develops and implements student wellness program.
- Coordinates communications between students regarding student academic success towards achieving academic, career and personal goal attainment.
- Provides crisis counseling to provide stabilization and makes referrals to resources outside of the College.
- Facilitates behavioral/wellness workshops to support student health and relationships.
- Oversight of program outcomes, policies, procedures, and manuals in collaboration with NAP faculty.
- Coordinates admission applications and interviews.
- Assists with new student orientation.
- Disseminates NAP evaluations and collects aggregate data.
- Schedules classrooms, OSCE rooms, and simulation space.
- Maintains student records specific to the NAP including clinical scheduling.
- Participates in all NAP meetings and takes minutes.

- Master's degree in education or counseling from a nationally recognized, accredited institution.
- Demonstrated current experience in area of specialty.
