ROSEN is looking for a Quality Specialist that will be based in Houston, TX. This position reports directly to the Head of Advisory and will be a part of the Quality team.
Responsibilities:
- Participating in the implementation of a quality system
- Provide expertise on specific quality systems and standards
- Assist personnel in applying quality systems and / or specific standards
- Planning, execution and closure of assigned projects
- Planning and execution of day to day tasks
- Expertise transfer about quality systems and / or standards to respective functions
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Follow up on action items from internal and external audits
- Driving a continuous improvement process.
- Providing improvement and decision proposals.
- Candidate shall have a higher professional education, Bachelor degree preferred.
- Comparable work experience will be considered.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Quality management, Project management or Process Professional (ROSEN) within the oil and gas industries preferred.
- Working knowledge and expertise in API Q1 standards
- Working knowledge and expertise in ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 standards
- Consistent track record of meeting performance objectives
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills and high level of customer and service-focus
- Excellent Interpersonal skills – Ability to work well within a team
- Technical aptitude to enable understanding of internal customer needs.
- Ability to read and interpret regulations, work procedures, technical instructions and technical references is a plus.
- Well-developed planning and reporting skills
- Willingness and ability to travel as required
