Key Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions

Responsible for general journal entry preparation and entry
Responsible for preparing monthly account reconciliations in a complete, accurate, and timely manner
Responsible for various treasury functions including daily cash reconciliation, including payments, deposits, cash forecast and cash management of over 30 bank accounts within multiple companies.
Responsible for fixed asset and Capital project accounting management; as well as any other project tracking deemed necessary
Assist with the preparation and analysis of the annual budget
Responsible for providing general accounting support including, but not limited to financial reporting/analysis; account reconciliation/analysis; month-end and year-end close process; cash forecasting process; and other project work as assigned.
Responsible for intercompany transactions and reconciliation
Provides assistance with annual audit providing information and documentation to external auditors.
Enhances, ensures, and promotes corporate separateness
Various special projects for Accounting Manager
Daily use of advanced PC and business computer applications, telephone conferencing and e-mail.
Understands RES’ ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) and assists with executing its objectives.
Performs other job-related Ad-hoc duties assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required.
Two-Four years of accounting experience with a Public Accounting Firm or Manufacturing Company.
Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Analytical and auditing skills, with the ability to research and reconcile complex General Ledger accounts
Required: At least one year of experience with maintaining Fixed Asset processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Experience or demonstrated ability to develop and/or improve policies, procedures, and practices.
Position requires exercise of independent judgment and ability to work with minimum supervision.
Experience with multi-corporations or divisions highly desired.
Ability to provide cross-functional support highly desired.
Must be willing to work extended hours as necessary.
