What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manufacturing Production Analyst position at Ross & Wallace Paper Products Inc?
The production planner will manage the scheduling and timeliness of the production process to ensure the company meets all deadlines in addition to other responsibilities assigned by ACR’s Senior Director of Operations.
GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must possess the ability to plan short- and long-term production schedule based on customer orders and desired inventory levels.
- Collaboration between manufacturing, warehousing, and shipping are essential to ensure production schedules meet critical deadlines.
- Review production processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Consolidate multiple reports into a by order shipment projection.
- The ability to extract and compile data from multiple systems / sources, analyze data and then make recommendations for action.
- Organize and Provide Daily Production Forms and release labels
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years production scheduling experience in related industry.
- Ability to multitask and provide quick responses to production problems.
- Generating reports and schedules requiring the use of software.
- Ability to create and understand reports to make production decisions.
- A desire to promote the success of the organization and production staff.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Manufacturing / Production industry experience preferred
- Knowledge of Lean 6 Sigma preferred
