Responsibilities
- Perform and review take-offs of Solar PV Jobs. Work with the existing electrical estimating team to determine optimal labor and execution strategy.
- Oversee day-to-day performance, site visits, and electrical inspections, Identify all RFI and change orders as required. Tracks all electrical material being purchased for each job.
- Receive & review all job materials, tools & QA/QC. Ensures each job site is safe and all relevant & HSE rules are being followed.
- Coordinate with the Mechanical Team, plan & schedule site work collaborate to work seamlessly completing jobs.
- Team leader able to Interview and recruit electricians. Measure daily and weekly productivity generate Schedules & set clear performance expectations for management.
- Ability to grasp and understand the scope of the job, identify any changes in the electrical scope, provide incite and feedback on logistics, and procurement
- 3 years of commercial Solar Field Installation experience Comprehensive Understanding of solar, construction timelines, material components, & procurement,
- Construction, Project Management and organizational skills, scope, and how each phase is to be coordinated throughout the project
- Software skills, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook. Procore (or similar software) CAD reading and comprehension, for electrical work.
- Will need an in-depth understanding of Utility interconnection understanding and enforcement of safety rules and regulations
- Preferred - Electrical engineering expertise, Journeyman, or higher license status.
- Open experienced Electrical Superintendent Project Managers with 3-5 years in PV Solar / Construction experience and Journeyman license - preferred
