Job description
Optometric Technician Responsibilities:
- Assisting with patient care and eye examinations.
- Educating patients on the care and maintenance of contact lenses.
- Explaining the testing process to patients, preparing them, and pre-testing patients on visual capabilities.
- Documeting patient records.
- Adhere to Hipaa policy and procedures.
- Answering phones, scheduling appoints, working with patients on insurance benefits.
Optometric Technician Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Self motivation, and ability to work under pressure.
Employee will receive on the job training for Optometric Technician duties.
Never open on Saturday or Sunday.
No prior experience is required, however preferred
Applicant must love to work with and help people.
