Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner - Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries - Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information - Maintain patient records and update information as needed - Assist with billing and payment processing - Coordinate with dental or medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow - Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area Qualifications: - Previous experience working in a medical or dental office setting is preferred - Familiarity with dental or medical office systems such as Dentrix or eClinicalWorks is a plus - Strong customer service skills with the ability to provide excellent patient service - Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines - Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) - Professional demeanor and appearance Note: This job description is intended to provide a general overview of the position.
